Food seems to be one of those topics that most of want to know more about. We either want to eat it, cook it, smell it, look at it, and think about what we’ll do when we do eat, cook and smell it. It’s a wonderful, and can be a delicious circle of energy we get and take from our food.
The problem is that too many people don’t get enough energy or nutrition from the foods they do eat. That’s why Foods for Your Life was started. So many of my friends wanted recipes or would ask me about foods that would help and not hurt them. From 87-year old grand mothers to tempestuous foodie two-year olds, food is something we ‘do’ every day.
We may as well enjoy the foods that we do eat!
And we may as well fill ourselves with as many chances as possible to eat healthy, nutritious and life-enhancing foods as we can. All too many people have found out the hard way that what they ate in their teens or earlier years is making their middle and older years less than fun, comfortable or healthy.
This blog is about options: the option to choose one food over another. To add one spice or condiment vs. another. And to enjoy the food you eat for all the right reasons vs. all the wrong, health-defeating ones.
This blog and site is to help you eat well to live better. Here’s to sharing lots of great ideas and learning more about not only what we eat, but how to enjoy ourselves even more than we already do.
To your health!
